Bodegas Sonsierra and its wine, Perfume de Sonsierra, have been awarded by Madrid Fusion for the best design and technological innovation. In the presence of restaurateurs from around the world, the press, and Spanish authorities, Pedro Diez, the winery’s Sales Manager, received the award from the hands of Luis Eduardo Cortes, president of IFEMA, and the president of the International Summit of Gastronomy, José Carlos Capel.
Bodegas Sonsierra gives special importance to design in an effort to be absolutely up-to-date in terms of new trends and, what’s even more important, to create those trends.
The design was not conceived only as a package, but as the ultimate expression of the latest artistic and cultural trends in the world of wine, which Bodegas Sonsierra has managed to convey into something more than a brand image, as evidenced by this award.
It is precisely in its brand image where Sonsierra Bodegas has managed to position itself among the most creative and groundbreaking wineries in Spain.
Bodegas Sonsierra commitment to partner with the world of fashion and the choice of a designer as transgressor and multifaceted as Davidelfín has caused a tremendous shock in the world of wine, as well as a large media impact.
Perfume de Sonsierra was conceived by the designer as "an object of desire"; this way the designer transformed the typical bottle of Bordeaux or Burgundy into a dark blue perfume bottle with a label and a capsule reminiscent of the most delicate perfumes.
Perfume de Sonsierra has a bigarreau cherry color, high robe, bright. In the nose it has outstanding fruity notes (strawberry, currant and licorice), very well combined with the aromas of aging, especially roasted and toasted coffee. The palate is long, balanced, round, with a good entry and a long finish
A luxury for the senses, including sight.
